I have started on designs for my logo. I have done a page of ideas and quick little sketches which I think may work with my drawing style and also along side the type of brand which I want to go for.
I need to choose the target audeince here too. and I have decided to go for a target audience of 18-25. I think that it is a good idea to go for an age range in which I am in, so that I can get the quotes right which I want to use from friends and family of close age.
I am in the process of getting the quotes now, so that I have time in the future to draw and write these out for my designs.

This next part I am going to show my ideas for my logo design.
This is the page of initial ideas for my logo. I think that I have found the one I really want to use. I think the R with the lipstick for the straight of the letter is perfect for my brand. I am going to experiment with it on photoshop with colour.
These four colour ways with the lipstick I am really loving. I think its adding a good amount of colour to the logo but it is also showing me. Its showing my style and everything that I have been doing. I am very happy with my logo and I am happy to take this forward to use as a final.
I like the design as its adaptable to fit any colour way. I'm just going to try something else.. to see if it would work without the black lines.
This is an idea that I had for the casing of the lipstick.. I think it works well as looking around the shops, lipstick casing isnt always black and I think I would like to use this for my branding too.
---------------------------
I have thought about the concept of adding photography in with my illustrations.
I have taken a brief few photos to see if i like the idea of this:
After having a little play with these in Photoshop, I just dont think that this is the way forward for me. I dont think there is any way that I would like to edit these along side illustration. I know if I had the right equiptment with cameras and lighting, it could have a much better outcome, but as I don't and can't afford to get these things then I would much rather stick to illustration as it is something I really enjoy as well as I feel it can get my personality across better within my work. It is all my work.
These are the only leaflets that I could find whilst out shopping in Eastbourne. I went to all the counters in Boots in the cosmetics department but a lot of the brands had either bigger ads or had big brand names across the stalls.
I like the design and shape of these leaflets though. I think that for Clinique as a brand, it suits is so well and makes the brand seem clean cut and to the point.
